How can I pay?

Payment can be by most major credit / debit cards, cheque with guarantee card, travellers cheques or cash. Normally we would not ask for a deposit but a credit or debit card number to guarantee the booking asking you to settle the bill in full upon your departure. Should you wish to pay by cheque then we would ask for a deposit of £25.00 per person for stays of more than 1 night.

What happens if I need to cancel?

In the event of notification of a cancellation within 2 weeks we may equest a cancellation fee of £25.00 per person if we are unable to re-let the room. Outside of 2 weeks no charge will apply.

How about accommodation for children and dogs?

Families are welcome and children can occupy a bed at the normal rate or we can provide a comfortable Put u Up' bed per room charging only £10.00p in addition to the normal room rate for B&B. Regrettably being only a small accommodation provider we do not allow dogs within the house.Guests are welcome to bring them if they can sleep in the car;we have an extremely large secure garden for them to exercise in and of course there are numerous local walks. If well trained weare very pleased to walk them in the morning along with our own collie, Meg.

Do you serve alcohol?

We do not have a licence but guests are welcome to supply their own. Glasses and openers are in each room.

At what time can we arrive / depart?

Anytime from 14.00 hours onwards. By arrangement we can take in guests' bags / luggage earlier. We ask that guests leave their rooms by 10.30 hours on the day of departure.

When do you serve Breakfast / Evening meals?

We serve breakfast between 07.30 & 09.00 hours Mon to Sat and between 08.00 & 09.30 on Sundays / Bank Hols. Just let us know the evening before if you prefer earlier or later between these times. Dinner is served between 18.00 hours and 19.30 hours. Supper trays are available, served in your room,up until 21.30 hours.

What other questions should I be asking?

Parking?... We have plenty of private parking space and, by arrangement, can provide garage parking if you are coming by vintage car or motor bike.

Diets?... Yes, Mary will provide meals for vegetarians, vegans and other dietary requirements.Just let us know

Internet Access?... You are welcome to retrieve your email here.

Walkers / Bikers & Cyclists?... We have plenty of secure storage / stowage space for bikes, cycles and walking equipment. Wet clothing and boots can be dried overnight.
